2.There sould be liquid on the surface and nozzle of manifold of the printhead ,all new printhead would has this liquid ,it is printhead protection liquid (not ink or water ).
3.Please keep your hand dry and connect the cable correctly when installing the printhead . or print head will be burned easily . it will be better to ask your engineer to install it if you don't have any experience about installing the print head .

Description:
The DX5 ( fifth generation micro-piezo print head) has a native resolution of 1440dpi, 8 nozzle lines (corresponding with 8 independent ink channels) and 180 nozzles per line. The Epson DX5 is either used in 4-colour or 8-colour printers and has a minimum, variable droplet size of 1,5 picoliter (max. droplet size is 21 picoliter). Each head is 4-colour, 8-colour printing needs two heads.
Tips：
1. The surface of the printhead is very fragile, absolutely can not bump, must be protected.
2. When installing the printhead must be careful, be sure to power off, and put in place.
3. In order to avoid the damage of the print head due to improper installation, the printhead must be installed by professionals.
4. Should pay attention to the daily maintenance of the printhead (can use the cleaning liquid to clean the printhead, will not let the nozzle blockage)
