uv printer 6 kinds of coating use methods and preservation matters
Although uv printers can print patterns on the surface of hundreds or thousands of materials, due to the surface characteristics of different materials, the adhesion of uv ink, flexibility and other performance differences, it will cause peeling and shedding on some materials. Circumstances, this requires the use of uv coating to solve this problem.
There are 6 types of common UV printer coatings:
1. Glass coating for uv printer:
It is suitable for plexiglass, tempered glass, glazed ceramic tiles, crystals and other glass materials that require special treatment. At present, there are two types of quick-drying coating and baking. The former can be printed after wiping and standing for 10 minutes, the latter It needs to be put into the oven for baking before printing the pattern.
2. PC coating for uv printer
Some harder PC materials have poor adhesion! Some PC materials do not need coating for direct printing! Generally, imported pvc acrylic sheets need to wipe down the pc coating.
3. Metal coating for uv printer
Metal coating: suitable for aluminum, copper plate, tinplate, aluminum alloy and other materials. There are two kinds of transparent and white. It needs to be used on the finished product. It cannot be used before stamping or injection molding, otherwise the effect will be greatly reduced.
4. Leather coating for uv printer
It is suitable for leather, leather, pvc leather, pu leather, etc. After spraying on the surface of the leather material, it can be allowed to dry naturally.
5. ABS coating for UV printer
It is suitable for wood, PVC, ABS, plaster, thick kraft paper, acrylic, PS PVC and other materials. After wiping the coating, it can be printed after natural drying.
6. Silicone coating for UV printers
Suitable for silicone and rubber materials. Surface activity is poor, flame treatment is required, otherwise the adhesion is not enough, flame treatment is based on experience, the surface should not be sprayed too thick, otherwise it will not be easy to dry.
Instructions:
1. The blending agent required for coating has a fixed ratio and mixing skills, which must be carried out in accordance with the instructions;
2. Once it is found that the coating has chemical reactions such as dissolution and blistering with the uv ink, it is necessary to replace the coating with better compatibility;
3. The irritating odor of the coating is generally relatively large. Masks and disposable gloves can be matched during the operation;
4. The types of coatings corresponding to different materials are also different. Don't use one coating to adapt to other materials.
Preservation matters of the coating:
1. Placed in a cool, backlit and ventilated place;
2. After use, the bottle cap needs to be tightened in time;
3. Do not press other materials on it;
4. Don't put the coating liquid on the ground, you can choose the shelf.
